In conjunction with SAS Architects and Planners, BTR Engineering, LLC provided consulting engineering services for the 2-story, 20,000 s.f. memory care addition to the existing senior living facility located in Northbrook, IL. As part of the overall project scope, the second floor of the existing facility is also being renovated and converted to larger assisted living suites. The project included a new emergency backup generator to serve code required emergency loads as well as other loads essential for the comfort and safety of the residents.
